COMPONENTS:  Silicon anhydride.

CHROMATISM:  Yellow, gold, brown, with reddish tones and silky gloss.

EXFOLIATION:  None, irregular.

SPECIFIC GRAVITY: 2,65.

HARDNESS: 7

CRISTALLIZATION:  Trigonal fibrous aggregates.

ORIGIN:  Next to Hawk´s Eye, slabs several inches grosor in which the fibers are crossed in the visible part. This variety of magmatic quartz is present in different types of volcanic rocks, mainly granitic alpine pegmatites.

DEPOSITS: Australia, Russia, USA, Brazil, Mexico and Madagascar.

Gem-therapy

This rock presents two powerful colors: brown and gold. When taken in hand and turns, there is a lighting effect inside that mixes the two colors.
